Land is important to people. Native American tribes have been in their respective lands for hundreds of years. Nowadays, they occupy reservations especially designed by the government so that they can continue with their way of life. The Mohegan people are such a tribe and their ancestral land is in the state of Connecticut. The beauty and strategic location of their vast land enticed enterprising individuals to do business with them and help them with their cause at the same time.

The outcome of the project is a sprawling resort and arena dubbed as the Mohegan Sun. It aimed to be the top entertainment center and tourist attraction in Connecticut. It has function rooms, ballroom, shop, and an arena. Aside from gambling, tourists and other visitors can watch shows and sporting events that provide a host of excitement and relaxation. The tribe has made the right choice and their decision proved to be a great help to their land and their people.
